PHS 6710 - Introduction to Population Health 1
Description
The Introduction to Population Health Pathway is intended to provide medical students with an introduction to the importance of population health sciences and career opportunities for physicians in population health sciences.
1.Students will have an understanding of the basic population health concepts (e.g., payment systems, health and behavioral economics, prevention, analytics, segmentation/risk stratification, health policy)
2.Students will be engaged with health and healthcare at a healthcare system / societal level
3.Students will apply their knowledge to work meaningfully on a population health intervention
