Description
Brief Description of Course:

Introduction to the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary vascular disease with extra educational opportunities with members of the Pulmonary Hypertension Program including echocardiography, invasive hemodynamics and pulmonary function test reading.

Course Objectives:

As a result of successfully completing the Pulmonary Vascular Disease Elective students will be able to:

1. List the groups of pulmonary hypertension

2. Describe the work up for pulmonary hypertension

3. Develop a plan for treating different causes of pulmonary hypertension.
