EMER 7606 - Introduction to Emergency Medicine-University Hospital
Description
This two-week elective course is for third-year students who have already completed at least one of the following core rotations (IM, Surgery, OB) as an introduction to the field of Emergency Medicine. Students will participate in a variety of EM related activities including: ED clinical shifts at the University of Utah Emergency Department and South Jordan ED; Wednesday EM Residency Didactics; ultrasound educational sessions; a Toxicology session; student-specific didactics; EM nursing experience shift; EM tech experience shift.
