MDCRC 6440 - Medical Genetics for Clinical Investigation
Description
This course provides a broad overview of medical genetics with an emphasis on issues most
relevant for clinical investigators. The course meets for 4 weeks, twice a week, for 90 minutes. Course
content focuses on the genetics of Mendelian traits, genetics of common disease, molecular
cytogenetics, genome sequencing, identification of disease-causing genes, genetic testing, gene
therapy, and ethical, legal, and social issues in genetics.
