SURG 7290 - Core Sub-Internship in General Surgery-University Hospital
Description
Provide experience in the management of surgical patients with emphasis on learning skills necessary to be successful as a surgical intern and exposure to operative management of surgical diseases. The student will function as an intern under the supervision of surgical residents and faculty and be responsible for admission workups, daily progress notes and orders. The student will participate in didactic conferences, journal club, and other educational activities based on the service rotation.
