Description
The Students as Teachers Pathway I course will serve as the introductory course for first year medical students interested in participating in the Students as Teachers (SaT) Pathway. The course will help students determine whether the SaT pathway is the good fit for them and will provide a foundation in topics including: the role physicians play as educators for patients and the community, medical literacy, the unique role of residents as teachers, characteristics of effective feedback, and the variety of careers available in medical education.
