INTMD 7750 - Internal Medicine Consult
Description
This elective course is for capable fourth-year medical students to practice their knowledge in point-of-care ultrasound in a real-time setting, gain experience providing internal medicine consult advice to surgical and psychiatric primary teams, provide complex thrombosis consults, and practice assisting internal medicine procedures (paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture) alongside a resident.
