NSURG 7375 - Introduction to Clinical Neurosurgery
Description
The 2-week Introduction to Neurosurgery course is intended to provide students with a broad introduction to the specialty. This mostly involves exposure to the preoperative, operative and postoperative care of patients with neurological disease. This will also include the basic knowledge and skills development in the area of history taking, physical exam, formulation of differential diagnosis and the application of pathophysiology of neurological disorders. Students will be assigned to care teams on a daily basis.
