Course: UUHSC 6811 - Health Law for Non-Lawyers (Virtual)

Description: This course is an introduction to health law for non-lawyers. This course is intended as an introductory seminar to health law. Nurses, pharmacists, medical students and all health-related graduate students are encouraged to enroll. We will cover a diverse set of legal topics such as informed consent, medical malpractice, the Affordable Care Act, Medicare, duty to treat, FDA regulations, and reproductive constitutional rights. No previous legal course work is required.
