MD ID 7710 - Medical Gross Anatomy: Dissection, Surgery, and Imaging (AISC)
Description
The "Medical Anatomy: Dissection, Imaging, and Surgery" course offers an advanced integrated science curriculum designed to provide Phase 3 medical students with a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy, diagnostic imaging interpretation, and surgical techniques. Through a multidisciplinary approach, students will engage in hands-on cadaveric dissections to learn anatomical structures and relationships, supplemented by exposure to various imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, and ultrasound. Classroom lectures and clinical experiences will further reinforce key concepts, including surgical approaches and common procedures using lightly embalmed cadaver donors. By integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application, this course aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in modern medical practice, fostering critical thinking, collaboration, and clinical reasoning essential for delivering high-quality patient care.
