Course: FP MD 7510 - Care of Refugees

Description: This is a four-week elective course involving a variety of activities structured to teach the essential of caring for refugees. Students will gain knowledge, skills, and attitudes to care effectively for refugees as patients. Students will complete a clinical experience, gain an understanding of the refugee experience, complete required readings and pass a quiz successfully, write a paper on a news editorial/article, deliver a presentation, or conduct a service project, or assist with data collection followed by a reflections.
