OPHTH 7600 - Preceptorship in Ophthalmology: Clinical
Description
This course is designed for students seriously pursuing a career in ophthalmology. Students will work with two or more different full-time faculty preceptors in two-week blocks. The faculty preceptors will act as mentors for students during their time on the rotation. Students will participate in clinical patient care, surgical observation, a micro-suturing wet lab, weekly team meetings, educational conferences with residents, present at a Grand Rounds, and submit 1 patient case write-up for Moran C.O.R.E ( http://morancore.utah.edu/student-assignments/) under the guidance of their faculty mentor.
