MDCRC 6142 - Experiences in Personalized Medicine II (Virtual)
Description
The semester-long Experiences in Personalized Medicine II course provides a cutting-edge academic symposium and two sets of self-directed learning modules on Personalized Medicine that provide a high degree of flexibility to fit the demanding schedules of a second year medical student. Students will participate in an academic scientific symposium with a focus on personalized medicine, with preparatory and reflective work. The self-directed online modules include materials developed by Jackson Laboratory and Vanderbilt University, both leaders in personalized medicine education. Students who wish to pursue Personalized Medicine in greater depth are encouraged to continue in this four-year certificate program, including completion of a capstone experience.
