OPHTH 7600 - Preceptorship in Ophthalmology: Clinical
Description
This 4-week elective is designed for students seriously considering a career in ophthalmology. Students will be scheduled with 1 or more ophthalmology physicians in 2 week blocks. Course Assignments include: A 10-12 minute Grand Rounds Presentation, 1 image case write-up for Moran CORE (peer-reviewed publication for CV), Wet Lab participation, & weekly team meetings with our Medical Student Director. Students will also have the option of attending weekly Grand Rounds lectures & buddy-call with one of our current residents (arranged directly with resident). Travel to Moran satellite clinics may include: Farmington, Murray, Park City, Primary Children's, Riverton, South Jordan, & the VA. For more information contact course coordinator, Chandler Thompson.
