Description
This seminar style course is designed to review topics in the ethical and legal foundations of human genetics, particularly as they pertain to the field of genetic counseling. Topics reviewed in this course include ethical theory, prenatal diagnosis, health law, concepts in genetic determinism, and many more. This course will prepare students to learn and assess contemporary topics in genetics pertaining to ethical and legal issues.
