Course: INTMD 7984 - Wilderness Medicine in the Alps

Description: This fantastic course is taught in Chamonix-Mt. Blanc in the French Alps. You will study with other medical students from around the world. You will earn the AWLS and Backpacking Medicine certificates. We teach medicine in the wilderness, where no medical help is available. Practical skills are taught so that a medical student knows how to manage neck injuries, move an injured patient and treat common fractures, dislocations and wounds. You will hike each day in the majestic mountains around Mt. Blanc. This course will change your life. It is a must if you do any backcountry activities.
