Course: MD ID 7760 - AISC Airway to Alveolus: Pulmonary Disease Mechanisms

Description: This Advanced Integrated Science Course is a four-week bench-to-bedside, deep examination of pulmonary physiology, pathology and pharmacology. This course takes students sequentially through pulmonary topics to facilitate an understanding of pathophysiology of acute and chronic pulmonary disease as well as the impact on patients. This course will combine lectures, case, team, and problem-based learning sessions, lab time, journal clubs, and clinical experiences that will give students an in-depth look at what the pulmonary system does and how that translates to patient care.
