Course: MD ID 7845 - Doctoring and Intersessions 3b

Description: All students of the new MD program will participate in monthly academic half-days and a Fall and Spring Intersession during Phase 3b. Content will focus on knowledge, skills and attitudes required of all physicians, including professional identify formation, preparation for residency applications and core pillar content. As the course progresses, content will become more specific for the students' intended specialty. Academic Half-Days will be held one afternoon each month. The Fall Intersession will be held during a 5-day interval between block rotations. The Spring Intersession will be their final course prior to graduation. Learning methods will include house and learning community activities, large and small group sessions, simulations and selective experiences.
