Course: ANES 7065 - MS4 Transthoracic Ultrasound

Description: This a 2 week course is offered to fourth year medical students interested in developing their anesthesia point of care ultrasound skills with a focus on transthoracic ultrasound(echocardiography and lung). The course consists of a combination of independent reading/lectures, scanning sessions in anesthesia preoperative clinic, image review, quizzes, and in-person teaching. The goals of this course are to develop knowledge and hands-on skills for anesthesia ultrasound with a focus on transthoracic point of care ultrasound in soon-to-be new physicians.
