BIO C 7201 - Genetic Therapies (For MD Students)
Description
This intensive, 2-week, 2-credit elective course is designed to introduce advanced medical and graduate students to issues that will be relevant to research and practice in an era of molecular medicine. We are now in the age of molecular medicine and our students need opportunities for guided exploration of the present reality and likely future of genetic therapies. This course will cover techniques of genetic modification, clinical experiences with genetic therapies and ethical/social issues.
