RDLGY 7060 - Diagnostic Radiology
Description
APRIL AND MAY 2020 SECTIONS:
This two-week virtual radiology elective is designed to provide upper-level medical students with a comprehensive overview of all radiology subspecialties.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

As a result of successfully completing the "Introduction to Diagnostic Radiology Virtual Course" students will be able to:
1.Apply appropriate radiologic terminology employed in image acquisition and interpretation.
2.Describe the utility and application of all imaging modalities currently employed in diagnostic radiology.
3.Appropriately order imaging studies for a wide variety of disease processes as outlined by the ACR (American College of Radiology) Appropriateness Criteria.
4.Recognize and interpret basic imaging findings for a broad spectrum of medical disorders commonly encountered in routine clinical practice.
