RDLGY 7062 - Interventional Radiology Elective
Description
Radiology 7062 is a two-week rotation with the Vascular and Interventional Radiology section at the University of Utah Hospital and Huntsman Cancer Hospital. This elective serves as an introduction into the world of IR. The rotation involves full clinical days: morning rounds, consults and procedures. Students should anticipate direct and indirect involvement in procedures to include observation, scrubbing and first-assist roles. Students will be expected to attend all didactic sessions offered during the rotation, and will be required to present a short case presentation at the conclusion of the rotation.
