MD ID 7227 - Near Peer Teaching and Mentoring
Description
All phase 3 students will complete 1 credit of near peer teaching and mentoring. Students are expected to complete 1 credit (approximately 40 hours) of teaching and mentoring experiences. They will be able to choose from a variety of offerings such as teaching assistant, mentoring of junior students in student led clinic or leading learning sessions during intersessions. This course will consist of experiential learning with application and reflection. In addition, students will complete knowledge modules specific to their experience and be expected to reflect on their experience at the close the course.
