MD ID 6515 - Maternal & Newborn Survival: Theory to Practice
Description
This course is designed for medical students who desire to meld the theoretical knowledge related to maternal-neonatal health obtained from on-line learning combined with the practical, hands-on skills acquired by completing structured Master Trainer workshops related to the care of the newborn and mother. Students will be required to complete two on-line learning certificates related to neonatal and maternal health in addition to two Master Trainer workshops, Helping Babies Breathe (HBB) or Essential Care for Every Baby (ECEB) or Essential Care of the Small Baby (ECSB) or Helping Mothers Survive (HMS).

Master Trainer dates TBD - Student will select 2 Master Trainer courses to attend from 5:30-8:30pm.
