Course: OBST 7100 - Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility

Description: The student will learn to evaluate endocrinologic concerns in both pediatric and adult patients. Additionally they will learn to evaluate and treat infertility in the adult patient and common gynecologic complaints in the pre-pubertal pediatric patient. The educational experience will include clinical, surgical, and didactic components. The student will: 1) Participate in outpatient clinics with members of the Endocrinology and Infertility division; 2) Participate in outpatient clinics (including some multi-disciplinary clinics) with the pediatric and adolescent gynecology physicians; 3) Attend weekly conferences of the in vitro fertilization program and assist in some of its procedures; 4) Attend all teaching conferences in the department; 5) Participate in surgical cases with both groups
