OPHTH 7590 - Preceptorship in Ophthalmology: Research
Description
This elective is designed for students who are interested in a career in ophthalmology and desire an in-depth experience in the newer facets of ophthalmic research. Students must discuss proposed project with an ophthalmology faculty member and obtain advance approval to rotate. For students needing assistance finding a project, you will be directed to our Medical Student Director to schedule a brief meeting to discuss options. The duration ranges from 2-12 weeks based on the project with 1 credit equivelent to an estimated 40 hours of work.
