SURG 7101 - Foundations in Value Driven Healthcare
Description
PATHWAYS

This course is intended to provide students with a broad introduction to the concepts of value-based healthcare delivery, including quality improvement, patient safety, patient experience, and cost containment.

Students will participate in four two-hour sessions that will include didactic and small group interactive learning. Students who wish to pursue value driven healthcare concepts in more depth are encouraged to continue in this four-year longitudinal pathway, including completion of clinical capstone experiences.
