OPHTH 7600 - Preceptorship in Ophthalmology: Clinical
Description
This 4-week course is designed for students seriously pursuing a career in ophthalmology and is offered June - September ONLY. Students will work with faculty preceptors in different subspecialties of ophthalmology and participate in clinical patient care, surgical observation, a micro suturing wet lab, & team meetings. Assignments include a 10-minute Grand Rounds presentation and submission of one patient case write-up for the Moran CORE (https://morancore.utah.edu/). Scheduled locations vary between the Moran Eye Center and its satellite locations. We accept 4 students per block/month.
