FP MD 7810 - HPIH Foundations of Health
Description
This course will introduce the SOM Health Promotion and Integrative Health (HPIH) Pathway. Each course builds on the others to take a student from knowledge to application, starting with themselves, then with patients and lastly within the community. Foundations of Health provides an overview of lifestyle and its role in prevention and treatment of disease. Students will have an opportunity to look at the evidence for nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and mindfulness as core foundations for good health.
