INTMD 7626 - Cardiac Electrophysiology
Description
Students will work directly with the fellows and attendings assigned to the electrophysiology service. Students will evaluate patients who require electrophysiology consultation and present to the attending physician. The student will also participate in pacemaker and defibrillator interrogations, drug loading, and elective cardioversions as supervised by the fellow and attending. Students will gain experience with state-of-the-art management of arrhythmias. The complete interpretation of ECGs is emphasized.
