SURG 7275 - Rural Surgery Preceptorship
Description
The Rural Surgery Preceptorship elective exposes medical students to knowledge, role, and capabilities required of surgeons in non-urban (population <100,000) settings. Students will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with a surgeon in a non-urban setting. Students will also be introduced to the complexities of surgical care delivery in lower-resource settings.
