Description
This course will employ multiple creative and reflective approaches to writing about medicine and about the experience of training to become a physician. A selection of literature-including prose (fiction and non-fiction), poetry, and memoir-will provide inspiration and instruction. Topics addressed in the course through written texts and assignments may include narrative medicine, histories of medicine, and the physician as author.
