INTMD 7984 - Wilderness Medicine in the Alps
Description
July 5th to 17th, 2021. This spectacular course is taught in the mountains surrounding Chamonix-Mt. Blanc in the Alps of Southern France. This program will offer certification in Advanced Wilderness Life support (AWLS) offered by the University Utah School of Medicine. This is ideal to place on an ERAS application. This program is designed to prepare medical students, residents and physicians how to prevent and treat injuries and medical problems that might occur in the back country where no medical help is available. Participants will spend their days hiking in the beautiful mountains around Mt. Blanc.
