INTMD 7984 - Wilderness Medicine in the Alps
Description
The course teaches students medicine in the wilderness, where no medical help is available. It teaches treatment of common diseases that are unique or at least common to the wilderness. Practical skills are taught so that a medical student knows how to manage neck injuries, move an injured patient and treat common fractures, dislocations and wounds.
